In the farm you will meet exotic llamas and alpacas, horses, donkeys, angora sheep, camels and many other animals…
You can walk the trails of the farm and enjoy the atmosphere of the quiet and magical desert landscape.
You can hand-feed the beautiful llamas and alpacas ("princess of wool"), a great way to make a personal connection with these friendly animals…
You can hear from the local staff all about the journey of the herd from the Andes of South America to the Negev highlands. We will also tell you all about the animals' amazing habits of sand baths, "public herd toilets" and of course… the spitting!
In the local wool factory you can hear about special qualities of the Alpaca Farm wool and learn about the process of yarn production. From the shearing of the alpacas to the spinning of the threads in the factory…and all the way to the completed sweaters.
The children can enjoy an alpaca ride (children weighing up to 25kg) or a pony ride (children weighing up to 35 kg) when dad is leading and mum is taking pictures.
In the stone hut you can paint pictures, weave on our big looms, knit small woolen "snakes" or make a decorative woolen Indian eye to take home as souvenirs.
Through the windows you can watch the lively farm while enjoying a cup of coffee or an ice cream.
The shearing festival is held during spring holidays. The alpacas get their springtime trimming in front of the visitors in the local Theatre.
